Gears 2 leads Live popularity chart

World at War in at four

Call of Duty: World at War is unsurprisingly the UK's best selling game, but the game has not assumed its expected position at the top of the Xbox Live play charts, presumably because players are still busily engaged in the singleplayer campaign.

Gears of War 2 is the most popular Live title at present, followed by Call of Duty 4, with Halo 3 in third before we get to World at War.

The chart covers Xbox Live Activity across the globe, and while World at War has sold in the largest numbers via Live, this success has yet to be translated into Live glory.

In related news, Worms is the best selling Arcade downloadable at present, rightly too; come on Painbringer, help Death Mage out of his hole.
