UK developer Rare, who are in the process of releasing Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts around the world, state that they are planning a few surprises when it comes to their future projects.

Apparently, the renown studio aren't working on what we think they are, studio manager Mark Betteridge hinting that the firm's new projects could be more than a little outside-of-the-box.

"It’s more about what we will do to change conventional thinking of games and entertainment," the exec tells GI.biz.

"I don’t see us fighting the same battles as everybody else, I think some of the products we’ll do going forward will surprise a lot of people, both in terms of what they are and the different styles. I think that will be good."
